Week 45: Don't Buy the Bull by Cassandra Toroian

I'm a little late posting this week, I did some extra reading in September so I've got a little flexibility.

In this book, author Cassandra Toroian discusses the differences between investing in the stock market prior to the economic downturn and investing in the current circumstances.

In this little book, Toroian takes her readers through the 2008 crash, and shows how investors' tried and true practices are no longer valid in this market. Her nightmare, she said, was watching as everything she learned came unraveled.

Of course, we're not all going to enjoy a book on investment strategies. I found most of it agonizingly boring. But the author was careful to use terms that were not overwhelming, and if she did, she explained them very well.

Basically, a decent read for anyone interested in investing, but terrified to actually do it.
