Well, for those of you who don't know me personally, work really got hairy the past few months and my daily reading time has taken a huge hit. Then, when work downshifted, my personal educational goal work went into high gear. I earned my CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) certification just two weeks ago. The same week, I started courses to complete my Bachelor's of Science in Organizational Leadership. I'm doing a lot of writing, and I've just been invited to submit a piece on the topic of my choice for a local newspaper. I'm feeling very excited about my prospects but I'm also feeling very overwhelmed.
The one place I can still enjoy my books is in my car. I usually have an audiobook in the CD player and another on standby. Now, I look forward to long lonely trips to and from Wilmington whereas I used to despise them.
I am badly backed up on my reviews, so I'll post a few short ones as soon as I can.
